Procedure for Admission

  1. Applicants need to submit admission application form with applicable fee for the respective program (separate form for programs from separate department) as per the admission schedule declared on the university website from time to time.
  2. University will display merit list for all the programs after the last date of application.
  3. Applicants eligible for admission (as per the merit list) will have to confirm their admission within the declared last date. Admission will be considered confirmed only after verification of eligibility and the payment of the applicable registration fee. The students will have to pay semester fee by the prescribed last date as declared payment schedule.
  4. Applicants who fail to give the confirmation of admission by the last date will be considered as Not Interested and the seat will be offered to the next eligible candidate in the merit list.
  5. If a student fails to prove educational eligibility after the confirmation to admission, his/her admission will be treated as Cancelled (due to non-eligibility) and the seat will be offered to the next candidate as per the waiting list. In such a case, the registration fees will not be refunded.
  6. Admissions to B Tech and MBA programs are done through the centralized online admissions process conducted by the ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses). The prospective students need to check the website <https://www.jacpcldce.ac.in> for details on eligibility, admissions procedure and dates etc.

  1. Cash/DD

 University prefers cashless payment method for all payments. However,  we also accept fee in Cash / DD to be paid directly at our office at IAR campus for which receipt will be provided. DD should be drawn in favour of “The Registrar, University of IAR” payable at Gandhinagar.

  • Students need to pay the application fee (applicable as per the category) at the time of submission of the application form.
  • One time University Registration fee (applicable as per the category) at the time of confirmation of admission.
  • *Fees are reviewed on annual basis considering input costs and other related issues. The fee may increase by about 8-10 % per year.
  • **Fees for B.Tech and MBA are determined by FRC (Fee Regulatory Committee, Govt of Gujarat). Application and Registration fee are not applicable to these programs. Application and Registration fees are not applicable for B.Tech and MBA.
  • Hostel and Mess charges are separate and need to be paid as per the type of hostel facility applied/to be availed.


  1. Students from SEBC, SC, ST and Free ship Card Holder category can avail the scholarship facility provided by the State Government under Digital Gujarat Portal. Institute of Advanced Research helps the students to apply in respective category under Digital Gujarat Scholarship schemes.
  2. Students from Minority Category can avail the facility of scholarship provided by the minority commission of Govt. of India. Institute of Advanced Research will publish the Circular received from the Central / State Government and helps the students to apply in National Portal Scholarship scheme from time to time.
